This is the schedule for the Wednesday night bible class. For the next 13 months. I’m a planner and when I took over the class at the end of May 2015, I really had no idea what direction that I was headed. So, I did all that I knew to do – make a list. With the help of several “read the bible in…” lists, I compiled this one. While this certainly will not cover every story in the bible, you will find that in 13 months we will have touched every single book in the bible. We’ve spent the summer months trying new things and learning what works for us without a schedule. Now that school is beginning – our class will officially begin as well. Each week, I will create a new post outlining what our class will be for that week. I will try and include any videos or online resources that I use in case your child is unable to be in class. This list will likely be edited a bit as we go along…so please check back!
Since our class is comprised of a very large age range – I will teach each lesson twice. Once to the younger set and again for the older children. This will keep any age from being overlooked. The children who are in the middle range (5 and 6 years old, most likely) may be in the younger group one week and in the older group another week. This will depend on the topic or how many children are in the class that evening. I will do my best to make sure that every child benefits. If you will subscribe to this blog then you will receive a notification that I’ve posted (Which should be every Wednesday at 6PM CST). With your assistance – over the next 13 months your children will be introduced to a large portion of the bible.
